Here is a set of cards you can print to remind people to come to church during the summer.
The all the images were created as 1/4 page postcards in MS Publisher. I then made PDFs of them that are ready to print. I intentionally left a white margin around the images so if you print them in the church office and are a little off in your cutting them apart, you'll still be OK. If you get them professionally printed you might want to add run the image all the way to the edge of the template size the online companies provide. Below is a ZIP file with additional cards that contains:
- Ready-to-print PDF files of all the cards/word art
- Editable MS Publisher file of all the cards, meaning you can add your own words or other images on top of the cards or on the back
- jpg images in high print resolution of all the cards so you can print them as reminders or encouragements in your newsletter or bulletin and low resolution images for websites and social media sharing
The link to the Zip File is at the end of this article. Following the gallery of images are some ideas for how to use the cards. Note the images are all 1/4 page size, though the galley images below vary. You can click on any image and it will start a slide show that gives you a better view of all of them.
Tips for how to use the cards
Print these in the church office and then on Sunday include 2 or 3 in everyone's bulletin. At some point in the service, point them out to the congregation and encourage them to share them with friends. They can mail or give them out.
Use them to send with a personal note to people who are missing church during the summer or to visitors. It may be all the encouragement they need to come back or start to attend.
