Though video is a popular tool to promote, advertise and instruct in almost every area of life, many churches and ministries do not use it to its full potential. This week I posted two videos on how I create training videos and the links to them are below.
But there is much more to video training, creation and use. The links following will help you get started. The most important one is the first one as this article gives you not only how to's but great ministry examples and inspiration.
Video creation does not need to cost very much and is not difficult to do--it is merely one more tool that enables us to be "all things to all people that we might win some."

You MUST read this article:
Video and the Web, Sharing video shorts for evangelism
The title doesn't begin to do it justice as it is an excellent overview article on the power of online video, PLUS it has some fantastic links to many resources to help you create ministry videos and some of the best brief advice on how to use videos in ministry that I've ever read. All of this comes from one of my favorite online evangelism sources: Internet Evangelism Day. Here is the link to this article from them and following are links to three more ones from them: http://www.internetevangelismday.com/video-outreach.php

For learning more advanced skills in video creation, a site and resources I've found useful is:

I've learned a lot by taking some of Dave Kaminski's courses on this site, not only what to do, but in some cases I've realized that the work and equipment needed for some things are not what are useful for my ministry. Some of his material is very advanced, but he also has a lot of clear beginner training--check around his site for what might suit you.
If nothing else, do sign up for his newsletter--he sends out great short tips and notices of new and sales on training.
