Many churches do incredible things to communicate and I saw a fantastic one a few days ago I couldn't wait to share with you--this is a church information kiosk at New Life Community Church In Pismo Beach, CA. My husband and I attended the Global Leadership Summit at that site. To the left is what it looks like.
You'll be able to see right away what a great set-up it is because it is a revolving rack with the different topics on each side:
The racks on each side are attached with velcro so they can be moved or positioned as needed.
Not only that, but where it was was great
As I was admiring the rack, a very nice lady came up to me and said that she was a the Welcome Centers beside it each Sunday. Here is the picture of h
er at it and she said that it was tremendously helpful to have it because when people wanted to know about a ministry: men's, women's, children's youth--there was a brochure on it. If people wanted copies of the pastor's sermon, there were the notes. If people wanted the church newsletter, copies were there.
I am contacting the gentleman who built it to see if I can get plans to pass on. I'll keep you updated if I do, but regardless, this is an incredible idea and I think the more inventive members of your church could easily come up with something similar.
For those of you who staff Welcome Centers, imagine something this complete at your fingertips.
Please send me pictures and explanations of your Welcome Centers and Information racks--I love seeing what you do and can share them with others.

Did someone end up sharing the building plans?
Yvon Prehn says
Sigh….no, they haven’t done what they said they would. I know church people are super busy, but I hope the images gave you an idea. They really are great and I hope people who know how to do those sorts of things can come up with the plans. Please pass on if you find someone who can.
Thanks for asking,
Yvon
