It seems like we are all getting tired. For some tired of being inside; for others tired of the added work in job demands that now include digital demands on how to get work done. For others tired of not working and worrying about where food and rent money will come from.

For many, soul-tired of trying to remain upbeat no matter what the circumstances.

I'm tired also, but I've faced times of tired discouragement enough in my pilgrimage on this earth to know that the best way to lift myself up out of this downward spiral is to do someone for others. It especially helps if that involves giving them God's Word and His encouragement. What this new way of doing Templates is part of

In some ways encouraging people with God's Word via our communications is what the entire ministry of Effective Church Communications is all about. Specifically in God's Word, as I say in many places, our task is to help our churches fully fulfill the Great Commission.

I've been working on ways to share that as I've been putting together the Membership program for Effective Church Communications. The project started out as Courses in an online school, then I realized I needed Ebooks to go with the classes, so a library was added, and then some Templates were needed as the practical implementation of what the courses and ebooks taught, and finally, I realized an Idea Bank would be useful (something I've wanted a place for a long time) to made available materials that don't necessarily fit into tidy course or book categories.

For the Templates, this batch is free, but I'll be moving most of my Templates into the ECC Membership system. Membership costs will be VERY low. They will be only $4.50 a month or $45 a year, intro price for everything, which at launch includes not sure how many courses, 19 ebooks, and still working on how many Templates and Idea Bank materials, with a very large queue of additional materials to format and upload as I can.

I can no longer fund everything on my own and I trust that organizing the many resources I have and the new ones I'm creating will be more than worth the Membership fee. My plan is to have the beta version released to you later this week. Your prayers for my focus and strength to get this done will be greatly appreciated.

One more practical application right now

There are some dear people in my life who I know need encouragement in the Word and who also let's just say are not into online church services or small groups. But they are addicted to social media and particularly enjoy Instagram. So I resurrected my dormant Instagram account and made it a business one. I did that so I'd have double incentive to post to it for both my friends IRL ("in real life" as they say if you aren't familiar with the term) and my Effective Church Communications precious people.

I'm putting images on it frequently that will have a verse and an application. You will recognize many of them. I do use the things I create and share with you.
