The most important thing we do as a church is to help people find Jesus as Savior. If you agree with that statement, does your church tell people what that means and how to do it in your church bulletin? This book will help you do that effectively.
This publication is in e-book format with lots of images to illustrate how various churches have incorporated a gospel presentation into their church bulletin.
I put it together after looking at many church bulletins (and websites also, but that's for another time) that don't say anything about what it means to become a Christian. That is our gospel, that is our good news!
The reason this is so important in the church bulletin is that, though it may be a piece that many church members often ignore, it is the one piece that unchurched people will read over carefully to find out what the church is about.
PLEASE don't let them walk away without knowing the most important thing about you—that you can help them enter into a forever relationship with Jesus, that their sins can be forgiven, and they can have joy and purpose in their life.
Or as the cover of the booklet says, "What does it profit a person if they get directions to the potluck, but lose their soul?"
A lame attempt at humor perhaps, but a seriously important challenge.
